Naga Attack!

This was more of a technical adventure than it was a creative endeavor. The point was to test various texturing methods, shading, and 3D effects. Though I do not use many of the techniques that I attempted (most notably, I do not shade/hilight in the manner that I did for parts of this piece, and I use more precise color adjustment techniques for better tones), there are some that remain. I was very pleased with how I was able to render scales around parts of the mouth, as well as the rendering towards the tail. Overall, it was an exciting adventure! It is also important to stress that no custom brushes were used, to stress planning and technique/theories to test.
